15 and 19 for the fanfic asks?
15. something you learned this year
That an online fandom community is both more fragile and more robust than I give it credit for. Six months ago, I had no idea that Tumblr would be shaking at its foundations the way it is, but I also wouldn’t have known that people are so willing to try out new places, and reach out to people in those new places.
19. any new fics to start next year
I don’t know if this counts as new, because it’s been hanging out partially done in my Gdocs for mumble mumble, but I really want to finish and post a Rebelcaptain historical AU that won’t leave my brain. It takes place in 1940, but I think it’s a take on Rebelcaptain in the looming shadow of WWII that we haven’t seen before. I mean. I hope.
Since I recently got obsessed with baking my own bread, I also want to return to the world of a bakery AU I wrote last year, and write about Jyn teaching Cassian how to bake bread.
